Study after study has found that community noise is interrupting our sleep, interfering with our children’s learning, suppressing our immune systems and even increasing our chances of having a heart attack. It also makes us unhappy and mean, reducing people’s inclination to help one another.

We have been experiencing excruciating noise from a rock crusher put 250 yards from our home so we get direct and reverberation from it a minimum of 20 hours a day. Our retirement location has turned into a horrible nightmare.

A Harvard Study showed that truck drivers in the US sleeping in their trucks at truck stops had a much higher pulse rate during sleep and had increased percentages of heart disease and high-blood pressure, coupled to with the poor diet of truck stops and the CO2 environment, they are doomed. – Lance (Online Think Tank).
